Healing Trauma with Balanced Mind Wellness Center

At my practice, I specialize in providing comprehensive trauma treatment services designed to help individuals heal from the profound impacts of traumatic experiences. I utilize evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), both of which are highly effective in addressing various forms of trauma, including sexual, physical, and emotional trauma. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can process their traumatic memories, reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and regain a sense of control and well-being.

With EMDR, I guide clients through a structured eight-phase process that uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, to help reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional charge. This method has been particularly effective for individuals who feel stuck in their trauma or who experience flashbacks and intense emotional responses. Similarly, CPT focuses on helping clients challenge and modify unhelpful beliefs related to their trauma, fostering healthier thought patterns and emotional responses. Through my extensive experience using these modalities, I have successfully assisted adults in overcoming the debilitating effects of trauma, enabling them to lead more fulfilling and empowered lives. Whether you are dealing with the aftermath of a recent traumatic event or grappling with long-standing trauma, I am committed to providing compassionate, expert care tailored to your unique needs.

If you’ve experienced trauma in your life and are interesting in finding out if EMDR or CPT are a good fit for you, please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. During this consultation, we can discuss your experiences, treatment goals, and determine the best approach to support your healing journey. Your well-being is my top priority, and I am here to help you take the first step towards recovery!
